I found Jamie Wilmen to be very unprofessional. Came across as talking a lot of BS. Zero follow up!!! Gives Real Estate Agents a bad reputation. His son told us that a very low offer had been made, then when Jamie arrived he said the same couple had put forward an offer at full asking price and we would have to put in an offer higher than that. That property is still for sale, we've had no follow up and I wouldn't believe a word Jamie says.
Appalling! We rented a house through them in October. I was told that there was a problem with their efpos machine so I could not pay a deposit immediately. Once I had paid a deposit, they kept stalling until I had no option but to pay the difference through son in Australia or possibly lose the rental. They also tried changing conditions of deposit and altering the amount. Very shady! "Dear Suzanne,Please clarify price. Booking summary gives accommodation cost as $1200, deposit $1000 with booking fee $155. Total $2355Email from you gives same total of $2355 but says deposit is $300 or $500. This would put the accommodation cost up by $700 or $500 if I only got this amount back. Are the figures in your email an oversight?"In the very last week before we arrived in Australia, they told me I could not pay by credit card as it was not their policy and I would have to pay the deposit by cash up front and they would pay back after the rental. I did not get this back until I was home in uk so this alone cost me an extra $200 in currency fees. Just don't deal with these people!
