Busy place but the only spot for good fish n chips
Oil tasted a bit old and my order was repeatedly interrupted by the woman taking the orders here. The fish did taste fresh but was sitting in a sea of oil. The paper around the fish was suitable for lighting fires afterwards. I would suggest menu to be placed behind and above the counter so customers dont need to be barked at, as to where the chip sizes are shown (right hand wall). I would also suggest hearing a customer out before interjecting comments about what size a fish is. All in all 30mins wait time I believe was to do with management trying to control everything rather then giving orders straight to the chef to bang out.
Food was tasty but pretty slow. There's a sign saying it's not McDonalds so expect a wait, which is fair enough, but 30min just for chips is I think excessive.
Food was fresh and yummy! owner was very nice, super friendly.
